2nd trimester already???

Indeed... it is here. I am officially in my second trimester. I can't believe how quickly it is already going by. I am 1/3 of the way through my pregnancy! Crazy. Many haven't noticed, but I really do feel like I have already gotten HUGE! I can't even begin to imagine what I'm going to look and feel like when I'm farther along. Carrying two babies at once is going to be a craaaaaaazy thing! Here is my 12 week or 3 month picture. Soon enough I'll be posting my 4 month!
P.S. We had our annual girl's Christmas party over the weekend. So fun. I love my girlfriends so much. And I'm so very thankful for each and every one of them.

Christmas fun!

Lots has been going on with family and friends lately. That's why I love the Holidays so much :) Two weekends ago we spent the weekend in Park city in celebration of my mom finally finishing her dissertation and getting her PH.D. We had a fun get together with some friends. We ate dinner, made gingerbread houses, and watched a movie. Then, we went with other friends and saw the lights at the Temple and enjoyed dinner at The Dodo afterwards. Great times. Enjoy the many pictures! (In no particular order.)

Can't even believe it!

November 1st of this year Dave and I found out I'm pregnant! Even though it was a huge surprise and totally not planned we were really excited. We finally had our 1st appointment yesterday and it was so crazy! When we did our ultrasound our Doctor found a surprise! Not just one baby! But TWO!!! HOLY COW WE'RE HAVING TWINS!!! I couldn't stop laughing. I honestly can't believe we are having twins. Sooooooo much to look forward to! :) I really want to post our ultrasound but have NO idea how to post videos on here! If you can help out that would be great!

O Christmas tree

Last Thursday Dave and I finally went and got our Christmas tree. I have been beyond excited for our tree this year, probably because it is our first Christmas being married :) We went to the Home Depot and found a cute little fat one! Once we got it home I took care of all the decorating. Dave claims he would have helped if it weren't for me being so picky about things, but really, there was just too much football/t.v. going on! It was really fun and I love our Christmas tree so much this year!

Livin' at Alta Pines

Last night I really wanted to take a bath tub. I haven't had one in forever. Sadly... our bath tub has one too many problems that have been preventing me from doing so. Our plug is too large for the drain. When you put it in it slowly comes back out. I kept complaining about how badly I wanted a bath so Dave finally helped me out. He took a knife to our plug and cut all around it to make it smaller for the drain. Problem fixed. Next problem: The bath tub handle that switches the water from the shower head to the bath is broken. Dave said I'd just have to fill up the tub with the shower head. Problem fixed. I finally had my bath! Afterwards though, as the plug was being pulled from the drain... the plug broke. And remained stuck in the drain. Dave had to put his huge muscles into use and remove it. Phew! I would have never thought taking a bath would be such challenging work! I tell myself and Dave almost everyday that Alta Pines will only make us so much more grateful for when we have a nicer place one day! One where I can take a bath. Where we don't have to constantly complain about how our hot water runs out so fast. Where our dishwasher doesn't sound like it's literally eating our dishes. Where our refrigerator doesn't smell bad. Where our heating doesn't quit on us. Where we have door knobs! Where our mail actually gets delivered to us. Where we can have pets. I could name a ton more things! (Sigh) I'm looking forward to that place already. Until then... we remain here at Alta Pines :)

Thanksgiving weekend

I can't believe it's come and gone! Time is going by too quickly! Thanksgiving break was a good one this year! I love spending time with family :) Here is a break down of what we did.

Hung out with friends Wednesday night
Went to Hillcrest for the annual Turkey Bowl. Dave played while I sat on the sidelines with Janzyn and chatted
Saw New Moon. (Don't take offense anyone, but I'm all for Jacob after seeing the movie. He's 10x more attractive than Edward)
Spent Thanksgiving with my extended family.
Got Christmas decorations for our tree!!
Watched Little Rascals
Switched bedrooms! YAY! I've been sleeping tons better
Watched the U of U game... sort of... Dave was at dunk ball practice and I was busy running errands. So I kinda forgot about it...
We attended the Jazz game Saturday night. Dave was performing and it was his Dad's birthday so his whole family went! It was a way fun outing! Sadly, I hardly took any pictures. What on earth is my deal these days??? I used to be camera happy! I'll work on it. Enjoy! :)

Pilobolus

Last night was date night with my Mom and Candice. We went out to dinner at Market Street and it was delicious. Then we headed to Kingsbury Hall to see Pilobolus. Super cool... although I'll admit I wish they would have done more performances where they make things out of shadows. Regardless... they are amazing. Thanks mom for a super fun outing! :)
P.S. Dave served me breakfast in bed this morning. Cheesy scrambled eggs with a bagel and orange juice! What a cute husband!

As of late...

... things have been busy! Where shall I start? Halloween was great this year. Completely jam packed with lots of fun stuff to do. As great as it was, I'm glad it's over because it was wearing me OUT! A few weekends ago Dave and I were out until 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday night. Ugh. We are never out that late. We dressed up as 80's rock stars and attended Hallofunkoween with friends. Had our 2nd annual Halloween party with friends. We went to a Haunted house with Brinly and Korey, and then watched a scary movie! And on Halloween we went to the U of U blackout game! Great times. Sadly, no pumpkin carving this year :( We had our first Bunco run through with all the girls and it was super fun. I'm really glad we will be playing Bunco on a regular basis now! It's a great way for the girls to get together and do something fun once a month. My mom is finally finished with school and now has her PH.D! Thank goodness that is over with. She took me shopping and out to lunch on Saturday. It was great being able to spend time with my mom. We went to the Jazz game last Monday night with Brinly and Korey. (Thanks Gina for the tickets) And aside from all that we have just been busy busy with school and work. I'm so glad that this semester is almost over!!!! This is the best yet worst time of the school semester. It's the best because it's sooooo close to being over with. Yet the worst because the end is the most stressful part, filled with projects, tests, essays and all that stuff. Really looking forward to the Holidays coming up! :)

The winning team!
My team for apple bobbing. We lost :(

Cute little sister and Cam.
Go Jazz!
