36 weeks!!!!
K... so my blogging pretty much has nothing to do with anything but my pregnancy these days. I'm sorry! But it's obviously pretty much the only thing that consumes my mind or time. Especially now that we are so close to the big day! Everything is going super well. Truly... I think everything is perfect. Today our Doctor told me I've had the easiest most uncomplicated twin pregnancy she's ever seen. So that definitely makes me feel good! I've had an inducement date set which is pretty exciting. It isn't a for sure thing because... it was only set so that if the babes don't come in the mean time we will know for sure when we will have to go in to have them. So if they aren't here within the next two weeks... you can plan on them being here on June 8th! I'm really curious to know if everything will happen on it's own or if I'll actually carry out this pregnancy to 38 weeks! Anyway... I'm always asking for some kind of feed back when it comes to questions I have. So for those mommies out there... once again... if you were induced and you'd like to share your experience of being induced please do so! Giving birth is one of those things you just can't prepare for completely. So I really do love hearing about others experiences. Just kinda makes me feel a little better to know what to expect! Thanks! :)

35 weeks
So great to be here! I can't believe that in 2 more weeks I'll be full term for twins. There's pretty much no telling when these babes will decide to come. It could be any day now! I had a Doctor appointment yesterday and it we were given some unfortunate news :( Everything is actually really well. The only bad thing was that my blood pressure was high so they kept me there for 6 hours to do testing to see if I have preeclampsia. And the worst of the worst about it... they didn't let me eat the whole time! I had to do a non-stress test again and both babies are doing so well. Aside from that it was discovered that I am contracting quite a bit. They are very small and I can't feel them but they come pretty frequently. My body is practicing for the real thing!!! After that I had to have blood drawn and do urine tests. It took forever to get the results back. At this time they were still monitoring my contractions and then they did a cervical exam to make sure they weren't actually making my cervix dilate. I am still effaced at about 70%... which is 1 cm. Exactly where I was at 24 weeks! Our tests eventually came back and thank goodness everything was negative! But they still sent me home to do a 24 hour urine test. In which for 24 hours I had to collect my urine and... this is the best part... store it in our refrigerator!!! haha. Huge pain in the butt. Kinda funny though. Hopefully our results from that will come back negative as well! If not... the most likely thing to happen is I will be induced! Preeclampsia makes your internal organs swell. And the only known way of getting rid of it... is by not being pregnant any more! Seeing as how I've come quite far in this pregnancy they will probably just get the babies out! Kinda exciting to think about. Although I hope that's not the outcome. Oh.... so crazy. I can't believe in less than a month I will have two babies here with me! Yes, very grateful to be returning my jug of urine to the hospital. TMI??? ;)

A post pregnancy question
This blog is for all you mommies out there... I have this question and I hope some of you will have some kind of an answer for me! I've heard things about wearing a corset after pregnancy. Or... some kind of a band that is similar to help your rib cage shrink back to it's normal size and also, help your tummy resume it's original size. I don't know of anyone personally who has worn anything like this so I'm really curious to know... did anyone wear something along these lines? If so... did it help? Was it worth it? Did anyone not wear anything like this and feel as though everything pretty much went back to normal regardless? Sometimes I feel kinda vain worrying about things like this... but what mom doesn't want to get back into shape after pregnancy?
A "Bachelorette shower"
What is a "bachelorette shower"? I don't know... I think our girlfriends made up that term. It's a mix between a bachelorette party and a bridal shower. We had one last Friday night for the soon to be bride Loraca. Ate yummy treats, played silly games, and opened lovely presents. Good times with great friends :)

Soooooooo HAPPY!!!!
I'm officially at the start of my 34th week now. Really happy to be here as always. All the progress we make is so great. We had our ultrasound today and I was given the best news ever!!!! "Baby A" finally turned and is now head first along with "Baby B!" Ahhhhh! Couldn't have been given better news than that! I have been really trying to prep myself for a c-section and just be accepting of it if that was how things turned out for me and the babes. After the good news today I feel such a sense of relief. And gratitude. And so many other feelings of happiness! Both babies are so so so good and healthy! Right now they currently weigh about 5 lbs each, give or take a little bit. Through ultrasounds it isn't possible to get an exact weight. Anyway... things are looking so good! I'm just so thankful that I have a healthy body and that through my life I've made wise decisions in taking care of myself. I really do feel like all my healthy decisions have helped in making this twin pregnancy quite simple so far! And I'm glad that through my pregnancy I have been aware and made wise decisions to take care of myself because it really does effect the babies! And they are so happy and healthy!! The ultrasound technician we had today we have had a few times before. Dave and I both really like her a lot. She is the nicest, sweetest lady ever. At the end of our ultrasound she told us that we need to tell everyone, even strangers, just how beautiful our babies already are!!! So I'm telling everyone... our babies are BEAUTIFUL!!!! And I'm so stinkin' happy! :) :) :)

A GOOD day!
It consists of these things...
Waking up at noon.
Having a nice morning with your husband.
Your sister in law coming over to visit with cute babies and always offering to get you a drink and snacks from the 7-11.
A surprise visit from your mom who takes you to Babies R' Us to get baby stuff! Most importantly... a belly support strap. (Amazing. Thanks mom!)
Lunch at Village Baker after you haven't eaten there for at least a year and a half! Mmmm...
Long drives through beautiful neighborhoods.
Noodles N' Company delivered by your mother in law.
Friends coming over to hang out with you for the night.
Needless to say... I'm quite happy right now. My belly is even more so happy... probably meaning these little babes in my belly have happy bellies :) We're all just a happy bunch!
