Bath time has been conquered

For quite some time, bath time was not enjoyed by anyone. Trey and Easton both hated it. It was a less than enjoyable experience that I never brought myself to take on alone. I always made Dave help me out, because our goal was to get it done and over with as quickly as possible. Regardless of tub toys or bubbles, in the sink, in the tub, in the shower... Trey and Easton made it very clear they did not like it. Thankfully the tables have turned and bath time has become fun! Trey loves splashing the water and playing with the cup I always use to rinse them. And Easton thoroughly enjoys playing with his bath book that floats in the water. Finally, I can take this chore on by myself. Although, lucky for everyone, Dad still loves to help out :)

Friday night

You know you're a parent when Friday night rolls around and all you want to do is eat dinner, put the babies down, watch a movie (maybe), indulge in icecream, and be in bed by 10:00. My babies are one of the greatest things that's ever happened to us. It's just been one of those days... here's to tomorrow :/

Walkers/sitting

I will always be forever grateful for my sister-in-law Lisanne, for having had twins one year before we did. Thanks to her we have been able to borrow loads of things, such as; carseats, swing chairs, bath seats, and now... WALKERS!! Easton and Trey love being in their walkers. They don't walk around in them much, but they like to hang out, and as long as I can have them hang out for a little while so I can get some stuff done I'm happy :)

Also, Trey and Easton have finally began to sit... sort of! It's really fun to witness each milestone.

Meh.

Blogging hasn't been my thing as of late. And might not be for awhile... I'm just not feeling it, on top of that, when do I really ever have the time? Never. First things first, celebrating the Holidays was wonderful. We have amazing family and friends who we love spending time with. We did a lot of fun things this year and Christmas/New Years were great. I'm glad all is over with though because my fumes were running low.

Since life hasn't been so busy... we've engrossed ourselves in the Hunger Games Series. We are addicted and stay up way too late reading. Especially since the babies determine when we get up in the morning.

I start school this semester and I am actually pretty excited. It will be challenging with babies but it's gotta get done! Dave and I are both really really close to finishing. We can finally see an end in sight which I think is motivating the both of us to crack down.
