Thanksgiving

I think Thanksgiving is a great Holiday, mainly because it is so simple. You spend the day with your family, eat great food (lots of it), and remember the things you are grateful for. There is no "hustle and bustle" to it or any stress. It's nice. We spent Thanksgiving with both of our families. This year I'd like to share with everyone what I'm grateful for... in no particular order :)

David. He is an amazing husband to me and the best daddy ever. He goes to school, works, and at the end of the day he is more than helpful with the babies. What a great guy.

Trey and Easton. They are the cutest ever. I couldn't have ever imagined how much I would love being a mom. They make us laugh and smile every day and are the greatest blessing in our lives.

The ability to have children. What a blessing.

Our families. Dave and I both have great families who we love to be with.

Our Moms. They do so much for us. Between the two of them... Trey and Easton experience something along the lines of Christmas several days a week.

Our friends. We have the greatest group of friends who we love hanging out with.

My girlfriends. I have been friends with the majority of them since elementary and middle school. Even though I don't see some as often as I did once upon a time I'm grateful for the lasting friendships :)

Alta Pines. I could moan and groan about Alta Pines any given day. But when it comes down to it I'm very glad that we have the rare opportunity to live somewhere rent free and so close to Dave's family. Basically next door :)

School. I could moan and groan about school as well. But it's great that we are both able to get an education and that one day we will be able to say we are college graduates! That's an accomplishment!

That Dave is able to provide for our little family. I had no idea I would ever think being a stay at home mom is so important. I Love it.

My body. Sometimes I'm capable of picking it apart. But it's fully functioning and healthy as can be! When it comes down to it, isn't that all anyone really wants out of a body???

On another note... I have never been shopping on Black Friday. Am I crazy? Everyone thinks I am, but I love my sleep too dang much. And... I feel like there's never anything I want to buy that would actually be on sale! So if clothes and sectionals are included in the amazing deals going on, let me know. Those are pretty much the only things I'd care to wake up at 5:00 in the morning for :) Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Our first Thanksgiving as a family!

Rice cereal. Yum!

Feeding Trey and Easton rice cereal is one of my new favorite things to do. It can be quite the chore but it is beyond hilarious. Dave and I laugh our heads off every time. Easton cries every time he sees me feed Trey. And Trey somehow always manages to pull is bib, covered in rice cereal might I add, over his face. It's MESSY but always a good time :)

Random post

I just don't have the time to do this as of late... so here's an update of the latest and greatest :)

I've recently become a nanny. Three days a week now I drive to my brothers' to take care of my baby nephew Carson. I take Easton and Trey with me as well. It's hard taking care of three babies at once but thank goodness for Dylan! My other nephew who is 7 and very helpful in the smallest of ways. The things we do for a little extra money...

My new guilty pleasure is Keeping up with the Kardashians. I'm embarrassed to even admit this. I think I lose brain cells every time I watch it. Thank you Netflix.

Oh yeah. We cancelled our cable and opted to get Netflix. We will see how long this lasts... Dave is already struggling with not being able to watch most sporting events. And HD! Oh how we miss you HD...

I really really want a sectional so that when guests come to our apartment I will feel like we have somewhere for them to sit... aside from the floor.

I'm not a crafty person. But I try. I envy those of you who have cute furniture and when I ask where it was purchased the answer is "DI" or "a yard sale" and it has been redone and looks AMAZING. Dave's Aunt gave us a dining table when we got married. It is nice, but I thought some redoing was a must. I have purchased everything to do this. But I'll admit, with these babies, and the patience I have when it comes to projects (which is zero) I think this project will be finished in five years. And by that time we'll be ready to just buy a new one :/

Exactly one year ago on November 1st was when I found out I was pregnant. I can't believe that was a whole year ago! Time is FLYING!

I love run-ins with old friends I haven't seen forever. I've had several as of late :)

My car is almost paid off. I am more than excited that soon enough we will have one less car payment to take care of every month!!

Easton and Trey are stinkin' cute.

And lastly... Halloween was great this year. A little stressful due to procrastinating. But our 3rd annual party was so fun and the babies were a hit. We already have our idea for next year :)
