5 months!

I'm officially in my 21st week of pregnancy! With twins typically coming earlier than the given due date it's really weird to think that they'll be coming in around 3 1/2 - 4 months from today! I know having two babies will be a challenge in and of itself... but I'm honestly really looking forward to it! This semester of school will be DONE! I will be done with my job... FOREVER!! I won't be pregnant which means all these aches will be GONE! (Might have new ones though, due to recovery... we'll see.) And it will be summer! Hanging out with my two babes during my favorite season with no responsibilities and nothing to worry about except them, them, THEM just seems so appealing! I made Dave take pictures with me because we don't really have any together yet :)
Bah ha! He wishes he could be prego.

Day at the Zoo!

For Christmas Dave's parents got everyone year-round passes to the Zoo. We finally went and used them this morning. It was a lot of fun walking around and looking at all the funny animals. Plus, it was fun to hang out with the Dent family :)

Funny side note: After the Zoo Dave's sister and I went and got Cafe Rio. We laughed as we were done getting our food because together we are truly handicapped!! She has twins... and because I'm pregnant with twins she refuses to let me help her out at all! So she's on her own. Together... we struggle to accomplish ANYTHING! Thank goodness for nice people who help us carry the twinners and food out to the car!!!

Two...

... baby boys!!! How exciting. Dave is beyond thrilled. He was terrified at the thought of starting off parenting two girls. But he has officially given me the ok to have a girl now. That won't be coming our way for some time though!!! Our ultrasound went great today. It's so funny watching these two babies move around inside of me and see their hearts and spines and kidneys, etc... The only lingering question remains... are they identical or fraternal?? We won't be able to find out until they are born. All fraternal twins develop their own separate sack within the placenta. But identical twins can go either way. They can develop their own sack OR share one. So unless it's boy/girl twins... there is no telling until they are born. The babies will have their blood tested and if they have the same DNA they are identical. Dave thinks that will be the case. I'm still not sure just because identical twins are so rare and random! But... Dave has seriously called everything so far. So he might be right again! He had a feeling we would have twins and he had a feeling they were boys! We will wait and see.... :)
